Polyflor flooring at Hall cross dentist surgery

Working with the main contractor ‘Norths of Leicester’, we installed polyflor commercial flooring throughout a dentist surgery in Wigston, Leicester.

Outline of work

To supply and install:

Polyflor wood fx to all of the surgery rooms, toilets and comms room.

Polyflor camaro luxury vinyl tile to the reception, corridors and stairs.

Before the installation of flooring, all of the sub floors were prepared with either 6mm ply wood or ardex latex screed.

About the project

North of Leicester are a building contractor that specialize in the refurbishment of dentist surgeries. We work alongside them providing the specialization of flooring.

This project was a full refurbishment of one of the buildings at Hall cross dentist.

Projects like this are ideal for us, we kept the same fitters from start to finish, and, those fitters got a real sense of what was going on.

We helped the owners choose the flooring products once they gave us their specification.

The flooring specification was:

The reception and corridors needed to be in a dark wood floor. It needed to be hard wearing, easy to clean and most importantly look great!!

The surgery flooring needed to look similar to the corridors, but, it needed to be in sheet format and installed 100mm up the walls. This is standard procedure in clinical areas.

Why did we suggest polyflor products?

Firstly, all of their ranges are great!!

We recommended Polyflor camaro luxury vinyl tile for the reception and corridors simply because its a great product for the cost. It is also hard wearing and very low maintenance.

Polyflor wood fx safety vinyl was used for the clinical areas as it has a wood design which was specified.

All of the products that we suggested to use have good manufacturer warranties which shows the quality of the products.
