The Governments ‘Building Schools for the Future’ initiative is aiming to transform educational establishments into inspirational and creative learning environments.

As part of this process, specifiers are now becoming aware of the full range of flooring solutions available, and many are turning to DCS Flooring to create highly decorative and longer lasting solutions to the more traditionally used options of vinyl and carpets.

DCS Flooring specialise in tailoring each floor that we supply to the specific educational surrounding and budget.

We have very strict work practices when working within or around any education facility. We follow all guidelines to all aspects of Health and safety and we have introduced our own guidelines within our method statements.

How we have been involved in flooring for Education. 

At DCS Flooring we have proven results working with the main building contractor and direct with the educational facility.

We have completed large amounts of works at New College learning and sports village, in Leicester.

There were very challenging aspects to some of the phases of work, but, our experience ensured that we were able to overcome potential problems.

We have worked direct with Brockington College since 2018.

Works here have included:

300m2 corridor in forbo carpet tiles.

2 science labs of 95m2. We used polysafe standard safety flooring in these labs. This flooring is great, its hard wearing and looked great!

1 toilet in polysafe vogue ultra safety flooring.

We have a great relationship with the college, and we hope to continue working with them in the future.
