Flooring at The Haymarket Theatre in Leicester
Working with the main contractor and Leicester City Council, we have been selected to install the new flooring at the refurbishment of The Haymarket Theatre, in the Heart of Leicester City Centre.

The Haymarket Theartre closed a decade ago, but has now been given a boost to re open as a a team of business men have signed a 30-year lease to sub-let the building from Leicester City council.
The aim is to restore the theatre to its former glory over the next sixth months, so it can open as a performance, music, and comedy venue in late Autumn.
The Theartre will also be used to host E-Sports computer game tournaments, functions and act as a training base for people looking to enter the theatre industry.
The budget for the refurbishment is £3 Million which the Leicester City council are bank rolling.
The council is locked into a 99-year lease on the 1970s-built theatre which costs £180,000-a-year in service charges, maintenance and security.
However, the aim is that the consortium will take on the full costs associate with the building in the fourth year of the lease – but also pay the council £40,000 a year.

City mayor Sir Peter Soulsby said: “There was never really a clear plan of what would be done with this building when it was close at the time Curve opened.
“It has been a considerable burden but now we have a proposal that will see it become a fantastic venue for the city. The deal we have signed with the consortium is one that will not cripple them at the start but will support them as they establish the new venue.”

We work with the main contractor on a daily basis and have a fantastic working relationship with them.
Our work was due start in late June but has now been pushed back to October, we are rearing to go!
The specification for the flooring is a commercial carpet and Forbo safety flooring.
The bigger the challenge the greater the rewards.
Late last year in 2016, we installed new flooring at the The Athena Theatre in Leicester, this was an extremely challenging project, we are expecting this project to be a much bigger challenge, but, bring it on!!
